OAKLAND -- The Warriors came out in a sprint Friday night, only to falter so badly down the stretch it cost them the game.
Outscored 49-21 after the third quarter, the Warriors took a 128-119 overtime loss to Memphis that snapped a nine-game home win streak at Oracle Arena.

The Warriors (31-6) are 0-2 against the Grizzlies this season.
Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant led the offense, with Curry pouring in a game-high 40 points and Durant tossing in 27. Klay Thompson chipped in with 17 points, Draymond Green had 11 and Zaza Pachulia added 10.
The Warriors did most of their damage in the first three quarters, though, and collapsed in the fourth and OT.
The Grizzlies (23-16), who posted a 110-89 rout of the Warriors on Dec. 10 at Memphis, were led by guard Mike Conley and forward Zach Randolph, scored 27 points apiece.

STANDOUT PERFORMER
Often looking like the reigning MVP, Curry prior to the fourth quarter, was having one of his best offensive games this season.
Curry’s line: 40 points (15-of-27 shooting, 5-of-13 from deep, 5-of-5 from the line), six assists and four rebounds. He played 42 minutes and finished minus-10.
TURNING POINT
Though the Warriors went on a 21-5 third-quarter run, taking an 88-64 lead on a four-point play by Curry with 5:16 left in the quarter, Memphis battled its way back into the game with a 32-13 advantage in the fourth quarter.
Not until Memphis dominated OT, 15-8, was this one decided.
INJURY UPDATE
Warriors: G Klay Thompson (illness) was listed as questionable, upgraded to available an hour before tipoff. F James Michael McAdoo was a healthy inactive.
Grizzlies: F JaMychal Green (facial fracture) was listed as questionable, upgraded to available prior to tipoff. F Brandan Wright (L ankle surgery recovery) and C Deyonta Davis (L foot plantar fascia tear) were listed as out.
ROSTER NOTE
Rookie C Damian Jones is an assignment with the D-League Santa Cruz Warriors.
