Giants Twitter incredulous, scoffs at latest Correa saga twist

Carlos Correa's offseason:

11/7: Opts out of 2 years, $70.2M left on Twins contract

12/13: Agrees to 13 year, $350M contract with Giants

12/21: Agrees to 12 year, $315M contract with Mets

Hopefully, the Giants made the right call in their assessment of Carlos Correa's medicals. But, a 6-year deal with a vesting option for 4 more years feels like a deal that both buys out a lot of peak years for Correa while giving him the incentive to ensure that the option vests.
