Aside from prodigious home runs, if there's one thing Hall of Famer Reggie Jackson is known for it's strong opinions. Clearly time has not mellowed him.
In a recent conversation with Sports Illustrated's Phil Taylor, the former A's great weighed in on the Hall of Fame, and turned a critical eye on a Bay Area baseball legend.
When asked about baseball's home run record, Jackson dismissed the player atop the all-time list.

I believe that Hank Aaron is the home run king, not Barry Bonds, as great a player as Bonds was, Jackson said.
Bonds surpassed Aarons career total of 755 home runs on August 7, 2007 and would go on to end his career with 762 homers. Jackson ended his career with a total of 563 home runs, 224 of which were hit in Oakland.
Both Jackson and Bonds were institutions of Bay Area baseball in their respective times, and Jackson is already safely enshrined in the Hall of Fame. When asked what would happen should a suspected steroid user also be allowed in, Jackson was blunt: If any of those guys get in, no Hall of Famer will attend.
