William Eklund and Thomas Bordeleau gave Sharks fans a glimpse of the future in San Jose's 3-2 overtime win over the Anaheim Ducks in the first game of the 2022 Rookie Faceoff on Friday night at Tech CU Arena in San Jose.
Eklund, the No. 7 overall pick in the 2021 NHL Draft, ended the game in style with an incredible spinning goal 32 seconds into OT.

That marker was Eklund's second goal of the night. His first tied the game three minutes into the third period.
Bordeleau started the scoring with a goal midway through the first period on a cross-ice assist from Eklund.
The Sharks have high hopes for Eklund and Bordeleau, who are key pieces for the franchise's future.
