Baby Shark: Hertl's newborn son adorably sports team gear

Warning: You’re about to have the “Baby Shark” song stuck in your head. But for good and adorable reasons.

Sharks center Tomas Hertl posed with young Tobias Hertl and showed off a photo of him sporting San Jose gear:

Baby Hertl was born on Oct. 29, a day Tomas, and his wife, Anet, describes as the best of his life.

This is especially great news on top of a hopefully successful 2020-21 campaign for Hertl. He missed the last 18 games of the NHL season after sustaining a knee injury.

Hertl's rehab appears to be going well, as he’s resumed on-ice workouts.

“I want to be there for my team, and that’s why I have been working every day for four months even with the season so far away,” Hertl said back in May. “My next goal is getting back and being better than before. I know I can do it. I have to give it everything I can to get back.”

The 27-year-old tallied 16 goals and 20 assists prior to his injury, and was named to the 2020 NHL All-Star team.

When Hertl and the Sharks return to the ice, he will have a tiny new fan rooting him on.
