George Kittle would welcome a specific halftime-show act with arms wide open if they're available for the 49ers-Seattle Seahawks Thanksgiving game.

"Hopefully in Seattle, they have Creed come out and perform like they did in Dallas that one time," San Francisco's All-Pro tight end said Tuesday. "That was amazing."

Not that many could forget, but the once-popular rock band performed during halftime of the 2001 Cowboys-Denver Broncos Thanksgiving game. Creed's set featured such hits as "Higher," "My Sacrifice" and "Don't Stop Dancing," while aerialists carried on white sheets made to look like angel wings flew around the Cowboys' old Texas Stadium home.

Creed's show was one to remember, but that Cowboys season was one to forget, as they lost their annual Thanksgiving game 26-24, and finished 5-11.

Unfortunately for Kittle, two-time Grammy nominee Steve Aoki, not Creed, will perform at halftime Thursday night in Seattle. Known for his high-energy performances and electric vibes, the DJ and music producer should put on a show under the bright prime-time lights at Lumen Field.

Kittle, who's also known for high-energy performances, hopes to put on a show of his own against the 49ers' longtime NFC West rivals.

"I'm just excited about it," Kittle said. "It's a great holiday. All these families are together. And majority of the people are sitting down with the NFL games on, so you have a lot of eyes on you.

"And the fact that we play a division rival in Seattle with a great atmosphere, it just makes it that much more special."
