Tight end Kevin Boss, who joined the Raiders last year on a four-year, 16 million contract, will be released, according to a national news outlet.
According to ESPN, Oakland will release Boss and save 4 million in 2012 salary as a result. The Raiders still owe him a guaranteed 2 million.
Boss played 14 games and caught 28 passes for 368 yards and three touchdowns
