Former Jacksonville Jaguars assistant Robert Saleh is reportedly “expected to join” Kyle Shanahan’s staff as defensive coordinator.
Saleh coached linebackers for the past three seasons on Gus Bradley’s staff with the Jaguars. Saleh will not have a “co-defensive coordinator,” ESPN reported.
The Sporting News previously reported the 49ers were looking to pair Saleh and Falcons defensive passing game coordinator Jerome Henderson as co-defensive coordinators.
