Williams has a cap figure of $19.9 million, and a base salary of $11.5 million in 2016, according to Over the Cap.
His cap figure and base salary are both team highs.
Williams, 31, started 15 games last season, recording 19 total tackles and five sacks. In his first three seasons with Buffalo, the 2006 No. 1 overall pick broke double-digit sacks each year.
