Deebo Samuel is Kyle Shanahan's perfect Swiss Army knife. The 49ers rookie is much more than a receiver. He also is one of San Francisco's most dangerous ball-carriers.
Shanahan unleashed Samuel early Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIV. With 12:34 remaining in the first quarter, Jimmy Garoppolo faked a handoff to running back Tevin Coleman and tossed the ball to Samuel.
The rookie raced down the sidelines for 32 yards to give the 49ers some early momentum.

In the third quarter, Samuel carried the ball for 14 yards to set a Super Bowl record for most rushing yards by a receiver. He is up to 53 yards on three carries.
Samuel rushed for 159 yards and three touchdowns in the regular season. He also had 49 rushing yards on three carries in San Francisco's first two playoff games.
