Warriors guard Stephen Curry underwent successful surgery to repair the instability in his right ankle, the Warriors announced Wednesday.
The timetable for his return would not affect his appearance at training camp.

The surgery was performed by Dr. Bob Anderson, a foot and ankle specialist at the OrthoCarolina Clinic in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Curry, 23, averaged 18.6 points, 5.8 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 1.27 steals in 74 games last season, leading the league in free throw percentage (.934).
