Kings Guard Gaming (9-3) continues to climb up the NBA 2K League standings after earning the series win against Hawks Talon GC (4-6) Friday night. The Kings are riding a hot streak and have won four consecutive series to land them in fourth place out of 23 teams.

KGG entered Friday's matchup riding a solid wave of momentum after sweeping Pistons GT on Wednesday, but that same team didn't seem to show up in Game 1 against the Hawks.

The Hawks started the series off hot with a 75-71 win over the Kings. Hawks Talon held the lead for a majority of the game, but the Kings were able to cut the deficit to just two points in the last couple minutes of the game. The underdog Hawks held on to earn the Game 1 upset victory.

The loss seemed to wake up the Kings in Game 2 with a 72-63 win. They jumped out to a commanding 17-point lead at the half before the Hawks stormed back bringing the deficit to just three points multiple times in the third quarter. But the Kings, led by Bash's 35 points, were able to pull away once again to force a third and final game of the series.

Seemo showed up to play in Game 3 putting on an impressive 29-point performance in a 73-60 win to earn the series victory. The Kings shooting guard capped the game off with 17 points in the second half and had one of the more dominant fourth quarters you'll see a player have in the NBA 2K League.

Kings Guard Gaming will look to continue their winning streak on July 16 when they take on Bucks Gaming (6-5).
