Kings forward Marvin Bagley got a bit of good news regarding the fractured bone in his left hand.
Bagley, in his third NBA season, won't need surgery to repair the fourth metacarpal, which he fractured in the Kings' loss to the Charlotte Hornets on Monday.

The Kings announced that the next update on Bagley's status will come in four weeks, meaning he will be out until at least mid-April. Sacramento (16-24) has 32 games left on their schedule and finishes the season on May 16.
After a disappointing rookie campaign and an injury-ravaged second year, Bagley was playing the best and most consistent basketball in his third season, averaging 13.9 points and 7.4 rebounds in 37 games, all starts.
Before getting hurt against the Hornets, Bagley had 12 points and three rebounds in 16 minutes of action.
“I really feel for him, he’s put in so much hard work this year,” coach Luke Walton said Monday after the game. “He’s continued to make big strides and he was putting together a heck of a game tonight.”

With Bagley out, Walton moved rookie guard Tyrese Haliburton into the starting lineup against the Washington Wizards on Wednesday night, and the Kings pulled out a 121-119 win thanks to a game-winning shot by De'Aaron Fox with less than one second remaining on the clock.
It remains to be seen when Bagley will return, and once he does, he will need time to ramp back up and find the rhythm he was playing with before he got hurt.
