If you've watched the surprising Kings at all this season, you've definitely noticed second-year point guard De'Aaron Fox.

He has taken the next step in his development and has caught the attention of Hall of Famer Reggie Miller.

"De'Aaron Fox is a superstar in the making," Miller said on The Dan Patrick Show on Wednesday. "He's not there yet, but he is a superstar in the making."

After averaging 11.6 points and 4.4 assists as a rookie, Fox is averaging 17.5 points and 7.5 assists in 20 games this season.

Fox is a big part of the Kings' success, and Miller named the Kings as one of his three most surprising teams so far this season, along with the Clippers and the Grizzlies.

"The Kings, they have a great young nucleus," Miller said. "You talked about De'Aaron Fox, [Marvin] Bagley, [Bogdan] Bogdanovic, Buddy Hield, who has found a home coming from New Orleans. Great young players, they play hard, it's just a matter of them figuring it out. Before, the Kings would lose close games. They are finding ways to win close games now."

After three days off, the Kings are back in action Thursday night as they host the 13-6 Clippers.

Keep a close eye on that “superstar in the making.”
