Wiggins explains mindset defending LeBron in play-in loss

Andrew Wiggins was terrific in the Warriors' gut-wrenching loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night.

The No. 1 overall pick from the 2014 draft scored 21 points on a very efficient 10-for-18 shooting overall.

Wiggins also did a great job defending LeBron James.

"My mindset was to go out there -- pick him up full court -- just try to make him uncomfortable," the forward told the media. "He's one of the all-time greats. So I just tried to make it tough on him.

"That's the main thing. Be aggressive, just try to make it hard on him."

The 26-year-old is playing the best all-around basketball of his career right now, and the Warriors hope that continues Friday night in their win-or-go-home showdown against the Memphis Grizzlies.
