Tempers flare after Draymond, Williams exchange words again

As the 2022 NBA Finals shifted from San Francisco to Boston, a big storyline was whether Draymond Green would instigate another altercation with Grant Williams, Jaylen Brown or other Celtics players.

It took just over 14 minutes of game action in Game 3 at TD Garden for Green to get under the skin of Williams.

Early in the second quarter, Green drew an offensive foul on Williams. When the Warriors' forward stood up, he began clapping and bumped the Celtics' big man.

The two players had to be separated and luckily for both teams, the veteran officiating crew didn't assess technical fouls to either Green or Williams.

The bad blood between Green and Williams carried over from Game 2 at Chase Center when they exchanged words and some shoves. Green was given a technical foul, his fourth of the 2022 NBA playoffs.

During the Warriors' win on Sunday night, Green also chirped at Williams, appearing to say "You're not me. You're not me. You want to be me."

Green and Williams obviously had different views of the Game 2 trash talking, and it's safe to say their thoughts on the Game 3 incident won't be the same.
