SAN FRANCISCO -- Just like that, the Warriors have won three straight games, with Saturday night's 122-109 blowout win over the reigning champion Milwaukee Bucks being full of exclamation marks.
None more than Klay Thompson.

In a game that consisted of two two-time NBA MVPs in Steph Curry and Giannis Antetokounmpo, nobody was better than Thompson. Klay had been fighting through a shooting slump following an undisclosed illness. The Thompson of old showed up for a battle of two title contenders, catching fire in the second quarter as he scored 17 points and hit five 3-pointers in that frame alone.
What made this win even more impressive was the fact that Curry scored only five points on three shot attempts in the first half, and ended the night with a season-low eight points.
The Warriors opened the third quarter with an 11-0 run and didn't look back.
Giannis put up 31 points and eight rebounds, just as you'd expect him to. The rest of the Bucks, however, didn't give him close to enough help.

Here are three takeaways from a Warriors statement win, improving them to 46-22 on the season. Oh yeah, Draymond Green returns next game, Monday night against the Washington Wizards.
Splish Splash
Three paragraphs in and I just might have lied to all of you. Are we sure Jordan Poole actually wasn't the best player on the floor?
Steve Kerr started Curry, Thompson and Poole together for the first time this season, and it sure did work -- no matter how little of a scoring factor Steph was.
Poole scored 30 points, made all seven of his free throw attempts, went 9-for-16 from the field and 5-for-10 on 3-point attempts. He was a plus-26 and now is averaging 23 points over seven games in March. Still, the night belonged to only one person.
That person is Klay Thompson, who scored a season-high 38 points and was a game-high plus-27. Klay went 15-for-24 from the field, 8-for-14 from beyond the arc and nearly scored 40 points without attempting a single free throw. His 38 points were his most since scoring 39 on March 8, 2019.
The last time the Warriors played the Bucks, a 118-99 loss on Jan. 13, Thompson (11) and Poole (nine) combined to score only 20 points. Two months later, the result was just a bit different for these two.
Welcome Back, Wiggins
Entering Saturday night's game, Andrew Wiggins was having a March to forget -- just as he did in February, too. He was shooting 38.6 percent from the field, 32 percent from deep and 22.2 percent on free throws.
Finally, the All-Star version of the wing was back for the Warriors.
Wiggins scored 21 points, had six rebounds, four assists and made both of his free throws. That's what we've all been waiting for.
His 21-point performance was his first 20-point game since Jan. 31, snapping a 14-game streak of scoring under 20 points.
Most Surprising Stat
The moment the starting lineups were announced, it was clear how much bigger the Bucks -- like most teams -- are than the Warriors. You had to wonder who was going to guard who, and how big of a deal the size difference would be when it comes to rebounds. Have no fear, size didn't (completely) matter this time.
Golden State was better on the glass, grabbing 55 rebounds compared to Milwaukee's 39. What really stood out was the Warriors coming away with 12 offensive rebounds, which was four more than the Bucks, who finished with eight
Rookie Jonathan Kuminga quietly hauled in a career-high 11 rebounds for his second career double-double, scoring 14 points.

This was a team effort on the glass, too. The Warriors had eight players end the game with at least five rebounds.
Rebounding was far from an issue against a bigger Bucks team, and the Warriors are about to get Green and a much-stronger James Wiseman back in just a few days.
