This season has been a literal pain in the ass at times for Steph Curry.
After a comeback win, however, the Warriors superstar can make jokes at his own expense. He certainly was in the joking mood Tuesday night thanks to the Warriors' 122-121 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.
"It hurts but I can play, obviously," Curry told TNT about his lingering tailbone injury. "You see I can move, it's just as long as I don't land on it. I almost made it the whole game without one. Just one of those thing you gotta maintain in the off days to get ready.

"But I can play, I can do whatever I want on the court as long as I don't land on it. I got a nice little butt pad, too. That's the first time I've ever bragged about something like that. I'll take it in style."
Curry has every reason to brag right now. The two-time NBA MVP scored 41 points in the win while being extremely efficient from the floor. He went 14-for-21 from the field, 5-for-10 from 3-point range and made eight of his nine free throw attempts.
It has been exactly three weeks since Curry injured his tailbone against the Houston Rockets. He missed multiple games to the injury but has dominated when on the floor. In his last four games, Curry has scored 32, 36, 37 and 41 points.

That's 36.5 points per game over a four-game stretch as he deals with a lingering injury.
The Warriors enter Wednesday, an off-day for Golden State, with a 24-27 record which is good for 10th in the Western Conference. It will take sustained defense and energy for them to rise up the ranks. Having Curry helps, too.
