The Denver Nuggets received the worst news possible Tuesday morning.
Star guard Jamal Murray has been diagnosed with a torn ACL after the Nuggets' 116-107 loss to the Warriors at Chase Center.

Murray's left leg buckled while going up for a layup in the final minute of Golden State's win over Denver. He fell to the ground, grabbed his left knee and was in immediate pain.
"Before we start, I just wanna say everybody in our locker room is thinking about Jamal Murray and we're hoping for the best and we hope he's not injured," Warriors coach Steve Kerr said Monday night when addressing the media. "That was a really scary fall and there was silence in the gym. Everybody's so concerned for him.
"Fingers crossed."

Murray scored 17 points against the Warriors. He's averaging a career-high 21.2 points per game while shooting 40.8 percent from 3-point range.
This will be a huge loss for the No. 4-seeded Nuggets in the Western Conference playoffs.
