The 2021 NBA Draft is less than a month away, which means we are smack dab in the middle of "hypothetical trade season."
One of the latest blockbuster deals comes from ESPN's Mike Schmitz, and it's a three-team transaction involving the Warriors, Washington Wizards and Houston Rockets.
Golden State Warriors receive: Bradley Beal, Avery Bradley

Houston Rockets receive: James Wiseman, No. 7 pick in 2021, No. 14 pick in 2021
Washington Wizards receive: No. 2 pick in 2021, Andrew Wiggins
The Warriors practically would be unguardable with Beal in the fold. And a core of Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Beal absolutely is unbelievable.
"For the Warriors, landing one of the league's most prolific scorers in Beal to pair with 33-year-old Stephen Curry and 31-year-olds Klay Thompson and Draymond Green would be a dream scenario," Schmitz writes. "Golden State would have over $140 million committed to that quartet next season, but Beal is the ideal star to catapult this Warriors group back into NBA Finals contention."

Then again, you could make the argument Golden State will be a contender next year even if they don't strike a huge trade this summer. But that's a totally separate conversation.
The biggest risk for the Warriors relates to Beal's contract situation, as the 28-year-old assuredly will decline his $37.3 million player option in 2022-23 and become an unrestricted free agent.
So you better be sure that he is fully committed to re-signing long-term.

Also, if you trade Wiggins and if Kelly Oubre doesn't return, you are losing a lot of length and athleticism on the wing. And the Warriors wouldn't have many mechanisms to fill those voids.
Furthermore, it's very possible the Wizards would demand a little more in exchange for Beal. So would the Warriors be willing to include Jordan Poole or Juan Toscano-Anderson or an additional future pick to get it done?
That really starts to add up.
So if Beal ultimately becomes available, the Warriors' front office has a lot to ponder.
