For all the hate it received from the outside, the 2021 NBA Finals between the Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks was much more entertaining than expected. On a nightly basis, Chris Paul, Devin Booker, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton put on a show.
But not compared to the five-year run the Warriors had, with four Finals contests coming against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers and the fifth being a hobbled Golden State squad vs. Kawhi Leonard and the Toronto Raptors.
"I would love to see D-Book win a championship, but in my opinion, the Finals does not compare to Warriors-Cavs," Draymond Green said while sitting down with Kevin Durant on Bleacher Report's "Chips." "Even Warriors-Raptors."

Durant agreed, simply giving a "Nah, mmm-mmm" in response as Green talked.
During that five-year run, the Warriors went 3-2 as a group in the Finals. Durant went 2-1, beating the Cavs his first two seasons with Golden State. But he missed the first four games of the 2019 Finals due to a calf injury before returning for Game 5 and tearing his Achilles after scoring 11 points in just under 12 minutes.
The rest is history.

Again, the 2021 Finals deserves more credit than it received. For two "small-market teams," plenty of players provided highlight-reel moments. There's no denying Green, though.
It simply doesn't stack up to the five straight Finals the Warriors played in.
