Draymond Green isn't one to bite his tongue, and that didn't change after the Warriors' 106-101 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies in Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals on Tuesday night at FedExForum.
Following the game, Green was asked by a reporter about flipping off Grizzlies fans early in the first quarter. The Warriors star was walking to the locker room to get a cut under his right eye stitched up after he took an elbow from Memphis big man Xavier Tillman. Grizzlies fans showered Green with boos, so he responded with the double bird.
"If you're going to boo somebody who got elbowed in the eye, face running down blood, you should get flipped off," Green told reporters after the game. "I'll take the fine and go make an appearance and make up the money. But it felt really good to flip them off. You're going to boo someone that got elbowed in the eye and blood running down your face. I could have had a concussion and everything. So if they are going to be that nasty, I can be that nasty, too. And I'm assuming the cheers was because they knew I was going to get fined. Great. I make $25 million a year. I should be just fine."

Green very likely will get a hefty fine from the NBA in the coming days for his actions. Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving was fined $50,000 by the league for flipping off Boston Celtics fans during their first-round playoff series in April.
After missing the rest of the first quarter, Green returned to the game for the start of the second quarter with a noticeable gash under his right eye. Since he only played three minutes in the first quarter, Green ended up playing the entire second quarter.
Green finished the game with six points, 10 rebounds, seven assists and was a minus-10 in just over 32 minutes.
Golden State Warriors
The vocal leader of the Warriors had an interesting two games in Memphis. During Game 1 on Sunday, he was ejected at the end of the first half, dancing and taunting Grizzlies fans as he left the court for the locker room. Two days later, he had another run-in with the crowd in the arena, and this one likely will cost him monetarily.

With the series tied one game apiece, Green and the Warriors are guaranteed to return to Memphis at least one more time for Game 5 next Wednesday night. If things go the Warriors' way over the next two games in San Francisco, Green's next game in front of Grizzlies fans could be a close out game.
There's nothing Green would love more than to silence nearly 18,000 Grizzlies fans with a series-clinching win a week from now.
