There could be more home tickets available for the Aspostseason if Oaklandcan sweep the Tigers. The Oakland Tribune, citing a team source, is reporting thatthe team will remove the upper deck tarps at the Coliseum if the As can rally against theDetroit Tigers and advance to the American League Championship Series. For thatto happen, Oaklandwill need to win three straight games at the Coliseum, beginning Tuesday night.
The As trail in the best-of-five series, 2-0.The tarp has been in place since 2006, primarily due to low attendance figures.
The As final regular-season series against the Rangers drewsell-out crowds and calls for the tarp, which covers most of theupper deck at the O.co Coliseum, to be removed.
