The Giants will reportedly be writing checks to Mark Melancon for the next 11 years.
On every January 15th from 2021 to 2028, the All-Star closer will receive $1 million, according to MLB Network's Jon Heyman.
In early December, Melancon inked a 4-year, $62 million -- which included a $20 million signing bonus.

Melancon received $6 million on Dec. 30, will make another $6 million on Jan. 15, and the remaining $8 million is the deferred money in $1 million installments.
The 31-year old can opt out of his contract after the 2018 season.
