MLB twitter account weighs in on Kyler Murray, baseball versus football

All eyes will be on Kyler Murray on Saturday night.

The Heisman Trophy winning Oklahoma quarterback -- who is also the 2018 first-round draft pick of the Oakland A’s -- is set to take on heavily favored Alabama in the Orange Bowl with a berth in the National Championship on the line. 

Murray has a big decision to make after his Oklahoma season ends: pursue a baseball career with the A’s, or enter the NFL draft and try his hand at playing on Sundays.

A few hours before kickoff, Major League Baseball's official twitter account weighed in with their own, albeit biased, opinion.

When asked whether they were referring to Murray, MLB did not deny that was their intent.

Nobody seems to know what Murray will decide. While his agent Scott Boras maintains that Murray will report to Spring Training with the A’s, scouts seem convinced that Murray will play football
