"I feel like s--t."
Those words recently came from A's slugger Khris Davis' own mouth on the heels of an 0-for-4 outing against the Toronto Blue Jays.
"I wish I knew," Davis told Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle. "My swing just feels s--tty. I’ll try to ride it out and hope good things come quickly."

Now, I don't want to jinx anything, but in Sunday's series finale against Toronto, it appeared things did get better for Davis. The A's designated hitter went 2-for-5 with an RBI in the 5-4 loss.
The A's couldn't figure out how to beat the Blue Jays, but something worked for Davis.

In his previous 10 games, Davis had hit just .132/.214/.158 with five hits and three RBI. The 31-year-old just signed a two-year, $33.5 million contract extension with the A's, calling Oakland a special place to him.

"I never hid the fact that I wanted to stay in Oakland because that is how I feel, and I'm glad that I can continue to call the city of Oakland my baseball home," he said. "This team has a bright future, and I’m thrilled to be a part of it."
A's fans hope this small, successful outing is the start of something good for Khrush.
