Jerry Blevins inks a heartfelt note upon his return to A's organization

Jerry Blevins is "coming home."

The 35-year-old reliever recently signed a minor-league deal with the A's earlier this month

This reunion comes over ten years after he was traded to the A's from the Cubs -- the team he was drafted by in 2004. He spent seven seasons with the Green and Gold where he posted a 3.30 ERA with 239 strikeouts in 267 innings and went 13-6.

Upon his arrival, he inked a heartfelt note on Twitter:

It appeared to be very personal toward A's fans who have a unique and fun fanbase in the left and right field bleachers.

He looks forward to "Chapter 2," and we can only assume A's fans do as well.
