The A's will welcome a familiar face back into their starting pitching rotation against the Texas Rangers on Monday night.
Chris Bassitt will make his first MLB start of the season, deputizing while fellow right-handed pitcher Marco Estrada is on the injured list. Bassitt has not started in the majors since Aug. 26, 2018, and made three appearances with Single-A Stockton and Triple-A Las Vegas this season.
