With spring training in full swing, former Giants outfielder Angel Pagan is still a free agent.
But it's not as if teams aren't coming with offers. The offers just aren't what Pagan is looking for.
"I've been offered some deals," Pagan told reporters Wednesday in Scottsdale prior to Puerto Rico's exhibition game against the Giants.

SIGN UP HERE "I just feel I don't need to be fighting for a job. I'm in a position that if a team wants me to help them win, they know I can help a team win because I've been in that situation. I'm a winning player. I'm healthy. You'll see it in the baseball classic. I just want to earn the respect that I deserve. That's all." Pagan said.
In a tune up for the World Baseball Classic, Pagan batted leadoff Wednesday against his former team and went 2-for-4.
After the game, Giants manager Bruce Bochy was asked to evaluated Pagan.
"He looks good. He's healthy and he got some good swings off. He looks the same," Bochy said.
