DENVERThomas Greiss will start in goal for the Sharks tonight as they take on the Colorado Avalanche at Pepsi Center.
Todd McLellan explained the decision before the game to give Antti Niemi the night off.
Were going to play Thomas. Nemo is playing really well. We wanted to, at the beginning of the year, manage him a little bit better than we did down the stretch last year, said McLellan. We feel confident that Thomas can come out and play well, and provide us with the goaltending thats necessary to win.
