Free-agent inside linebacker Korey Toomer, who started eight games both of the past two seasons with the Chargers, is reportedly scheduled to visit the 49ers on Wednesday.
Toomer was a fifth-round draft pick of the Seattle Seahawks in 2012. He never appeared in any games with Seattle before getting released. He saw action with the Cowboys, Rams and Raiders before going to the Chargers in 2016.
Toomer (6-foot-2, 235 pounds) recorded 48 tackles last season in Gus Bradley’s system. Robert Saleh, the 49ers' defensive coordinator, was on the Seahawks' staff when Toomer was drafted.
