The Seattle Seahawks reportedly will not match offensive tackle Garry Gilliam’s offer sheet with the 49ers.
Gilliam is traveling back to Santa Clara on Tuesday to begin taking part in the 49ers’ offseason program, the NFL Network reported.
The 49ers hosted Gilliam last week on a free-agent visit. On Monday, he signed a one-year, $2.2 million offer sheet as a restricted free agent. The Seahawks had the right of first refusal, but they receive no compensation for declining to match the offer.
