SANTA CLARA -- Running back Anthony Dixon could not help but watch as free-agent wide receiver Randy Moss went through a 15-minute route-running session on the 49ers practice field.
"He looked good," Dixon said, saying Moss ran go routes, slants, outs, curls and comeback patterns during the workout.
Moss then met with 49ers coaches, including Jim Harbaugh, who threw passes during the workout.

There is no indication whether the 49ers will offer Moss a contract. He worked out for the New Orleans Saints last week.

Dixon said he spoke to Moss for about 15 minutes.
"It made my day to meet Randy Moss and talk to him," Dixon said.
When asked if he'd like for the 49ers to sign Moss, Dixon answered, "Oh, yeah, definitely. That's Randy. You got to account for him when he's on the field."
