CSNBayArea.com staffBrandon Crawford, called up by the Giants from Single-A on Thursday, marked his major league debut Friday by hitting a go-ahead grand slam in Milwaukee.Crawford was announced as Friday's starter at shortstop and lined out to center in his first at bat and hit into a double play in his second plate appearance. He came to the plate in the seventh inning with no outs and the bases loaded and sent Shaun Marcum's first pitch over the right-center field wall for his first MLB hit, a grand slam, which gave the Giants a 5-3 lead and ended Marcum's night.Crawford becomes the third San Francisco Giant to have his first MLB hit be a grand slam. He joins Bobby Bonds (62568) and Brian Dallimore (43004) in the exclusive club.
