Last time the Warriors played at Golden 1 Center, they bounced back from a disappointing home loss to a championship contender with a 130-125 win over the Kings. On Saturday night, Golden State will try to repeat history.
The Warriors are coming off perhaps their most frustrating loss of the season, a 135-134 overtime defeat at home to the rival Houston Rockets. Golden State held a 20-point lead in the third quarter of that eventual loss, but ultimatley could not finish off the Rockets. With a record of 25-14, the Dubs currently sit in third in the Western Conference, two games behind Denver in first.
The Kings (19-19) split the season series with the Warriors last year, but need a victory on Saturday night to have a chance at doing that again. Sacramento lost both previous meetings with Golden State this season, but by a combined total of only six points.
