
SANTA CRUZ -– The Santa Cruz Warriors made seven selections during the 2015 NBA D-League Draft, marking the fourth D-League draft in the city’s history.
Jarred Shaw, a 6’10” center from Utah State, was selected 18th overall by the Santa Cruz Warriors as the team prepares to tip-off its 2015-16 campaign. Shaw went undrafted in the 2014 NBA Draft and went on to play for Mamak Belediye Ankara DSI of the Turkish Basketball League. He played for the Charlotte Hornets in the 2015 Vegas Summer League where he saw game action in one contest.
Ronnie Brewer, a 6’7″ small forward out of the University of Arkansas, who last played for the Chicago Bulls, was selected 30th overall by the Santa Cruz Warriors. Brewer was selected 14th overall in the 2006 NBA draft by the Utah Jazz and played for six different NBA clubs over the past nine seasons. The Warriors finished up the 2nd round of the draft by picking center Justin Manns, with the 37th overall pick.

In the following rounds, the Santa Cruz Warriors picked Verdell Jones III out of Indiana University, Earnest Ross from Missouri, Brandon Wooley from Northwestern Oklahoma State, and Terrence Drisdom from Cal Poly Pomona.
