Cook, 28, reportedly was scheduled to work out for the Warriors this week. He was set to join a list that includes guards Isaiah Thomas and Avery Bradley.
Cook was with the Warriors for the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons, and won a ring his first season on Golden State. Over two years as a Warrior, he averaged 7.7 points per game and shot 41.8 percent from 3-point range.
