Kerr reveals congratulatory text that stood out the most: ‘Don't want to be name dropper, but…'

After the Warriors won the championship last Friday night in Cleveland, Steve Kerr eventually checked his cell phone.

He had many congratulatory messages, and as he began to respond to some of them, more kept pouring in.

So which text stood out the most?

The Warriors' head coach answered Damon Bruce's question on 95.7 The Game.

"I don't want to be a name dropper ... but the one that kind of stood out was Tiger Woods -- that was pretty cool. He and I connected last year over our back problems.

"So we kind of stayed in touch. That was cool getting a text from Tiger."

Unfortunately for Tiger, he shot a 78 (eight over par) in the first round of the US Open on Thursday.

As Kerr told Bruce, he won't be sending Tiger a congratulatory text tonight...
