There was more bad news for the Giants on Thursday afternoon, as two names have joined the growing list of injured players.
Outfielder Mike Yastrzemski and starting pitcher Logan Webb were both placed on the 10-day injured list prior to the Giants' series-opener against the Chicago Cubs on Thursday night. They called up infielder Jason Vosler and reliever Nick Tropeano to take their place.

Yastrzemski injured his thumb after crashing into the right field wall while tracking a fly ball in Tuesday's loss to the Los Angeles Angels. He immediately felt pain and could be seen examining his hand throughout the rest of the inning.

Webb last pitched in Saturday's game against the rival Los Angeles Dodgers, getting the win while only throwing 62 pitches through five innings of work.
Both Tropeano and Vosler have already made numerous appearances with the major league squad and will join the team once more.
