A little more than a week after their season came to an end in the Stanley Cup Final, the Sharks now have their full 82-game slate for 2016-17.
After opening at home against the Kings on Oct. 12, the Sharks will immediately hit the road for a five-game trip through the Eastern Conference, including a rematch with the Penguins on Oct. 20 at Consol Energy Center. Of their first 18 games, 12 are on the road.
The Sharks’ longest homestand is six games from March 9-18, while the longest road trip is also six games, from Nov. 8-19.

Other highlights include:
*The Penguins will visit SAP Center on Nov. 5 for the first time since winning the Stanley Cup on the Sharks’ home surface.
*San Jose will make its second of two visits to Staples Center on New Year’s Eve to face the rival Kings.
*The Sharks will make their first appearance at Edmonton’s new downtown arena on Jan. 10.

*St. Louis will make two visits to SAP Center to rematch the Western Conference Final on Jan. 14 and March 16.
*The Sharks close out the season with six straight games against the Pacific Division’s Canadian clubs – the first three on the road, and the final three at home against Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary.
*The Sharks have 16 sets of back-to-back games.
*Three home games will take place at 1 p.m.: Nov. 25 vs. the Islanders, Jan. 16 vs. Winnipeg, and March 11 vs. Nashville.
