Legendary hockey broadcaster Doc Emrick gives his two cents on what he thinks Sharks’ star defensemen Brent Burns and Erik Karlsson need to do to have a better season in 2020-2021 than they did the last.

They’re back!

The Sharks announced Tuesday they will be bringing back the Heritage Jerseys to commemorate the team’s 30th anniversary season.

The jersey was first worn during select games in the 2015-16 season to commemorate the 25th anniversary, so it makes sense they're bringing it back for the 30th as well.

This clearly was a very popular decision among Sharks fans. Just take a look at some of the team’s mentions about it:

The Sharks will have the anniversary logo worn as a patch on each player’s jersey throughout the season and the team will sport the popular jerseys on certain themed nights.

“Like anniversary marks from previous Sharks milestone celebrations, the 30th Anniversary Logo reflects the team's heritage and unique history,” the team said in a release. “The logo is influenced by the classic, art deco-inspired font and crest as well as the team's historic gray and modern teal colors.”

The Sharks' promotional nights during the season will give them time to go into detail about the history of the organization to celebrate all 30 years, and will celebrate the teams from the different decades. The greatest Sharks players ever will be highlighted during that time as well.

More information on when these specific nights will occur is to come at a later date, but regardless, Sharks fans can't wait to see these sweaters back in action.
