Filling in for interim head coach Alvin Gentry, Doug Christie emphasizes his love for the organization and wants to help however he can in future.

The Kings will have interim head coach Alvin Gentry back for Sunday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported Saturday morning, citing league sources.

Gentry missed the Kings' previous five games after testing positive, with assistant coach Doug Christie serving as acting interim head coach in his place.

The Kings have dealt with a number of COVID-19 issues of late, as De'Aaron Fox and Davion Mitchell were among seven players inactive for their last game against the LA Clippers at Golden 1 Center.

After going 2-3 without Gentry, the Kings will be hoping to turn things around Sunday against Ja Morant and the Grizzlies.
