De'Aaron Fox had time for NBA Twitter after the results of the draft lottery were revealed on Thursday night.
Fox and the Kings will pick at No. 12, but the New York Knicks, which features a fanbase with an unrelenting belief they deserve a top-3 pick every single time they end up in the lottery, wound up with the No. 8 overall selection. Fox was quick to join the parade of folks on social media enjoying another year of lottery misfortune for New York.

Naturally, angry Knicks fans flooded the mentions of the Kings' young point guard, bringing the typical name-calling and vitriol that comes with engaging on Twitter these days. But Fox couldn't help but keep firing back at all the contempt for his comments.
Fox was the lone bright spot for the Kings during the NBA bubble restart in Orlando, showing up and playing hard while continuing to develop over Sacramento's eight seeding games. Although Fox and the Kings ultimately couldn't qualify for the postseason, people took notice of the skills of Fox.
As long as social media is around, there always will be fans overreacting to any and everything that is said about their time, however rational or irrational it might be.
