Steph Curry turned emcee roaster as ESPYs host, taking down his NBA peers and other star athletes like it was Game 4 of the NBA Finals.
Grant Williams and the Boston Celtics. Check. LeBron James and Kevin Durant. Check. Tom Brady and the Los Angeles Lakers and Rams. Check.
Even the playoff-starved Sacramento Kings couldn’t escape Curry and his family.

So then it was only fair that social media had fun at the expense of the greatest shooter of all time, and one that was particularly comical was comparing his ESPYs outfit (with the accompanying adult beverage) to Kermit the Frog sipping tea.
The resemblance is uncanny.

Coincidentally, Curry is an executive producer of the zany miniature golf show “Holey Moley,” which had a Muppets theme in the latest season that debuted in early May, titled “Holey Moley Fore-Ever.” Curry even identified Kermit as his favorite Muppet.
Wait a second. Maybe the savvy media mogul is also a marketing genius, planting a not-so-subtle connection for his summer show that’s on the same network. Now that’s next level.
