On March 17, 2018, Jordan Poole became a Michigan Wolverines legend.
The then-18-year-old freshman drilled a game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer to knock off Houston in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

On Tuesday -- the two-year anniversary of the iconic moment -- the Warriors honored the rookie guard with an Instagram post:
“I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for that shot and being able to just to be in the situation that I am in now," Poole told the team. "I’m just extremely thankful and blessed so I just want to say Go Blue, forever and always, and Go Dubs.”

Poole and the Wolverines ultimately advanced to the national championship game before losing to Eric Paschall and the Villanova Wildcats.

Poole -- who is averaging 14.3 points and 3.9 assists over his last 13 games with the Warriors this season -- helped lead Michigan to the Sweet 16 as a sophomore.
Golden State then selected the Milwaukee native with the No. 28 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.
