After hitting a ridiculous fadeaway triple to seal the Warriors’ first road win of the season, Steph Curry told the Houston Rockets goodnight the only way he knows how.
Sometimes Steph Curry surprises himself with the shots he makes on the court.
To help seal the Warriors' 127-120 win over the Houston Rockets at Toyota Center on Sunday night, Curry, falling backward, threw up an off-balance 3-pointer to give Golden State a 126-117 lead over Houston with 34 seconds remaining. He followed the dagger shot with his liveliest "night night" celebration to date.

In speaking to reporters after the game, Curry explained why there was a little extra juice in his signature celebration.
"That was just because I surprised myself with that shot," Curry said. "More so the celebration when the clock was going down, we were running out the clock, me and Draymond [Green] put our hands above our heads like we really won something, just making fun of our slow start on the road."
In his 14th NBA season, is Curry still surprised by some of the shots he makes?

"Yeah, because you don't really choreograph this stuff, you try to make reads and that one was just a Hail Mary-type situation to close it out," Curry admitted. "But I like to have fun, too."

Curry's acrobatic heave of desperation wasn't the first and certainly won't be the last in his career. His "night night" celebration isn't going anywhere, either.
