Watch Steph Curry win the 2021 NBA 3-Point Contest during before the All-Star Game on Sunday. Curry led all shooters with 31 points in the first round then defeated Jazz’s Mike Conley by one point in the final round.

The 3-point contest trophy is back in the hands of a Splash Brother.

And naturally, after Steph Curry won the 2021 event on Sunday in Atlanta, Ga., he was thinking about his injured teammate.

"What's up Dub Nation?" Curry said in a video posted by the Warriors on Twitter. "Just walking off the court in Atlanta, 3-point shootout. I get to bring this home finally. The Splash Bros. We are back. So this one goes out to Klay Thompson. We got it done big fella."

Thompson is recovering from a torn right Achilles, which knocked him out for a second straight season after he missed the 2019-20 season due to a torn left ACL.

Curry won the 3-point Contest in 2015 in Brooklyn, N.Y. and Thompson captured the crown the next year in Toronto, Canada.

At this point in their careers, it's unclear if Curry or Thompson ever will participate in the contest again. With Klay coming off two major leg injuries, he probably has played in his last 3-point shootout.

For now, though the trophy is back in its rightful home with the Splash Bros. The world is healing.
