Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody gave Warriors fans a reason to feel optimistic after their Summer League performances.

Paul Millsap will not be signing with the Warriors.

The Athletic's Shams Charania reported Thursday morning that Millsap has agreed to a contract with the Brooklyn Nets. Millsap reportedly chose the Nets over the Warriors, Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Clippers.

Millsap, 36, is a four-time All-Star. He averaged 9.0 points and 4.7 rebounds per game last season for the Denver Nuggets.

The veteran big man has averaged 13.7 points and 7.2 rebounds per game over his 15-year career.

The Warriors still have one open roster spot. They could keep that open going into the season or sign someone like Gary Payton II, who certainly made his case during Summer League.
