Less than a minute into the game between the Warriors and Wizards on Tuesday, Kevin Durant took a blow to his left knee and immediately began grabbing it.
Seconds later, he was limping into the locker room.
The Warriors announced after the first quarter that Durant suffered a hyperextended left knee and will undergo an MRI. He has been ruled out for the remainder of the game against the Wizards.

Durant was injured with 11:03 left in the first quarter, when Washington center Marcin Gortat, while going for a rebound, slung Warriors center Zaza Pachulia to the floor and Pachulia fell into Durant’s left leg.
Durant came away clutching his knee. He remained in the game for another 36 seconds before signaling to the Warriors bench. After a timeout was called with 10:27 left in the quarter, he was escorted into the locker room and replaced by rookie Pat McCaw.
