Draymond tears into ‘desperate' Celtics fans for booing Durant

Before the Warriors beat the Celtics, 104-88, on Friday night in Boston, fans outside of TD Garden sent a message to Kevin Durant.

Shirts that read "Durant is a b----" were being sold ahead of the anticipated matchup. Durant met with Celtics representatives in free agency before ultimately choosing to join the Warriors.

And once Durant hit the floor Friday night in Boston, the boos poured down from the crowd. "Fans must be desperate," Draymond Green said to reporters after the Warriors' win.

"Like how can you boo at a guy for takin' an interview? Like, that's crazy," Green continued. "I don't get that. Y'all booing somebody for interviewing y'all? Man, they may scare free agents away."

The boos did nothing to Durant's game as he poured in 23 points and 10 rebounds.

"I mean if you're that mad at what somebody else did with their life, you need to evaluate your own life.

"He made a personal decision for his life, for his happiness, for his career, and people that mad, man, they need to re-evaluate where they're headed," Green said.

The Warriors improved to 10-2 on the season with the road win while the Celtics fell to 6-6.
